Our goal is to acquire a professional relationship with you so that you feel comfortable in turning to River Oaks. It would be our privilege to assist you in your event. Confirming Deposit
A deposit in the amount of $450.00 is required of all booking parties. A deposit of $250.00 is required for all golf tournaments. This deposit confirms the reservation, guarantees the booking, and is not refundable. A written receipt will be issued once the deposit is received. Verbal confirmations are not guaranteed.
Payment
Seven (7) days prior to the event, 100% of the estimated cost of the function is calculated and must be paid at that time.
Damage Deposit
A $250.00 damage deposit is required for all events.
Guarantees
Confirmation of final count must be given to the catering office by 12:00 noon seven days prior to your function. If the guarantee is not submitted you will be billed for the estimated number of guests agreed upon on the banquet order form. We will not be prepared to serve more than the guaranteed number of guests.
Cancellations
Any event cancelled within seven (7) business days prior to the event will be responsible for 100% of the estimated bill. Cancellations must be received in writing by the Catering office.
Prices
The prices on the catering menus are, due to conditions, subject to change. Once the menu is selected, a price can be confirmed 45 days prior to your event. If multiple entrees are chosen, all will be priced at the highest priced entrée.
Sales Tax and Service Charges
All food and beverages are subject to an 18% service charge and appropriate sales tax, 6.5% food, 9% liquor. Service charges and accessories are also subject to sales tax.
Menu Selections
Our professional staff can assist you in your menu selection. Your menu selection must be submitted to the Catering Office no later than three weeks before your scheduled event.
Food Tasting
We offer two tasting throughout the year. Tasting is provided for two guests on a complimentary basis. If others would like to join, there is a cost of $14.95 per person. You will be expected to pay that evening. Please call the Catering Office to check on our Tasting dates.
Food and Beverage Policy
River Oaks Golf Course must provide all food and beverages. The only exception being, commemorative cakes from a licensed baker in which River Oaks must cut and serve your cake at a cost of $50.00. Due to Health Department regulations and Club Policy, we prohibit the removal of beverages or extra food from the premises.
Alcohol Consumption
We request that you assist in requiring responsible behavior with regard to alcohol consumption. We reserved the right to refuse service to any guest who appears to be intoxicated or provides alcohol to guests who are under the legal age. This is in total compliance with local law enforcement, and also necessitated by our liability insurance. Alcohol consumption must end at 12:00 a.m.
Decorations
River Oaks Golf Course will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors, ceilings or outdoor poles with nails, staples, tape or other substance unless the management gives approval. Confetti and glitter is not allowed. For your convenience we offer votive candles and holders at a cost of $1.00 each and beveled mirror tiles at a cost of $2.00 each.
Setup and Entertainment
As the host of your event, you may get into the banquet room 2 hours before the beginning of the event or if it is a wedding you may get into the room at 10:00 a.m. the day of. You are responsible for the setup, placement and take down of all centerpieces not provided by River Oaks. All music must be set up before the arrival of your guests. All entertainment must end by 12:00 a.m. Entertainers must contact the catering office at least two weeks in advance.
No Smoking Policy
The entire clubhouse is smoke free. Your guests are permitted to smoke outside the entrance or on the patio. Ashtray receptacles are provided for your guests to use.
River Oaks Golf Course will not assume any responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left on the premises before, during or after your event. All decorations and equipment provided by your party must be removed at the conclusion of your event.
